VJIT has celebrated the 71st Republic Day with great eclat by the VJITians, honouring the historic date 26th January by unfurling the Triclour. The celebrations started with prayers offered to Mahatma Gandhi by the Director P. Venugopal Reddy and Principal Dr. A Padmaja. The National Flag was hoisted by the Director Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy followed by the national anthem and the customary Salute to the Tricolour. The Director Dr. P. Venugopal Reddy and Principal Dr. A Padmaja addressed the gathering on this auspicious day.
On the eve of the Republic Day celebrations a tradition adopted and followed by VJIT is to felicitate two Staff Members in recognition of their valued contributions to the institute. This Republic Day celebrations had Mr. Pradeep Reddy from the Administration Department and Mr. Maheshwar Reddy from the Mechanical Department receiving the honours for their sincere and steadfast services for the past twenty years at VJIT.
